I adore Pinterest. I have pinned literally thousands of things. I feel a sense of accomplishment after a good pin session, but I, like many other pinners, don't follow through on many.
Until recently, that is. I've been wanting some sort of curtain or shade in my kitchen for some time. And I love burlap. So, I came across a pin for burlap roman shades. Score!
I bought two yards of burlap and a tension rod. A little trimming and some hot glue and I had a curtain! I tied it up with some turquoise burlap ribbon. The ribbon matches perfectly my blue mason jars. I'm in love!
And Dan is working on a huge DIY project
...curtain rods! Our windows are so big, buying curtain rods would be impractical. Cue electrical conduit and spray paint! I love doing DIY projects!
